Description:
This is the final course for most students in the Postgraduate Diploma in Physics. Students are required to undertake an investigation of a topic of their choice, subject to the approval of the Physics Programme Committee. Students should consult the Physics Programme Chair for details of possible projects.

Assessment is by brief dissertation (10,000 words) and oral presentation of findings.

Prerequisite: Enrolment in the Postgraduate Diploma of Physics.

Media and methods employed: Face-to-face tutorials, telephone tutorials, audio cassettes, video cassettes.

This is a 1 or 2 semester course (15 or 30 weeks). It is a 3/6 point course.
